I had breast cancer last year. Ghost cancer awareness it’s ok not to be ok shirt I didn't need either radiotherapy or chemo, but am on medication to keep my oestrogen levels down. This is because breast cancer cells tend to bind to oestrogen. So presumably anything that increases your oestrogen levels could be tending to increase the risk of breast cancer. I should stress that I am not in any way medically qualified, and am just passing on the advice I received from my consultant last year. No two cancers are exactly alike, so if in doubt, talk to your doctor.
