His mother never found his body, but she only knew her boy had drowned. She killed the camp worker in anger. At the end of the first movie, a dead child’s body emerges from the water and in the panicked heroines, she thinks it grabs her. Apparently it was a young Jason boy who drowned because he didn’t die, but he hid in the forest.
